Preventive health and wellness programmes in Thailand

Editorial Policy

Current as of: March 2026

How We Maintain Clinical Standards

Patients considering wellness treatment abroad deserve content they can trust. Every programme page, clinical guide and health-related article on this website is written to inform — never to persuade — and undergoes rigorous review before publication. This policy explains the standards and processes behind our content.

Our Medical Reviewer

All clinical material is evaluated by a board-certified medical professional with relevant specialist experience. Before any content goes live, our reviewer assesses it for:

  • Medical accuracy of programme descriptions, techniques and terminology
  • Completeness and fairness of risk, side-effect and outcome information
  • Alignment of stated outcomes with current clinical evidence
  • Appropriate context for patients considering treatment abroad

From Research to Publication

Our editorial workflow has five stages:

  1. Source gathering — The editorial team consults peer-reviewed literature, established clinical guidelines, and input from practising specialists
  2. Writing — Content is drafted in accessible language, balancing clinical detail with readability
  3. Clinical review — Our medical reviewer examines the draft for factual accuracy, balanced risk disclosure and correct use of medical terminology
  4. Editorial review — A dedicated pass ensures all language is clear, professional and consistent across the site
  5. Periodic reassessment — Published content is re-evaluated at least every six months against the latest clinical evidence and evolving standards of care

Principles That Guide Our Content

Every piece of medical content on this site follows these principles:

  • Grounded in evidence — Programme descriptions, risk profiles and outcome expectations draw on published research and established clinical practice
  • Forthright about limitations — We are upfront that individual results vary, that every treatment carries inherent risk, and that no outcome can be guaranteed
  • Even-handed — Benefits and risks receive equal attention. We do not minimise side effects or overstate what treatment can achieve
  • Informational, not prescriptive — Nothing published here replaces a direct consultation with a qualified specialist or medical professional
  • Transparent on cost — Prices are starting estimates. We make clear that final costs depend on clinical assessment and may differ by clinic and specialist

Where Our Information Comes From

Content on this site draws on:

  • Peer-reviewed medical and scientific literature
  • Guidance from recognised international clinical bodies
  • International accreditation standards
  • Thai Medical Council and Thai FDA regulatory frameworks

Spotted an Error?

If anything on this site appears inaccurate, outdated or poorly worded, email team@thailandwellness.com. We investigate every report and correct confirmed errors as quickly as possible.

Editorial Independence

Thailand Wellness earns referral fees from partner clinics. That commercial relationship has no influence on what we publish. Programme information, risk disclosures and clinical guidance are produced independently — clinic partnerships never shape editorial decisions.
